Refund policy
PLEASE NOTE:
- Refunds will only be available:
- up until the close of registrations for the relevant test window as specified below upon request; or
- thereafter, pursuant to the Australian Consumer Law which requires refunds in certain circumstances. Apart from those circumstances, any monies paid as part of a registration to sit the test are NON-REFUNDABLE, such as simply changing your mind due to personal circumstances or illness;
- by the close of registrations for each test window a place is reserved for all registered candidates whether for an in-person test or a remotely proctored test. Payment of the registration fee ensures this; and
- for remotely proctored tests:
- it is each candidate’s responsibility to schedule within the remote proctoring scheduling period with ACER’s remote proctoring service, ProctorU, a particular time and day for undertaking the test; and
- while a place is available for each registered candidate, places are taken quickly and if candidates leave scheduling their sitting until late in the testing window, NO SESSIONS MAY BE AVAILABLE because those who schedule their sessions early with ProctorU may take up all places available in the latter days of the test window, leaving candidates late to scheduling with no available sessions. Therefore, candidates should ensure they attend to scheduling as early as possible and within the remote proctoring time scheduling timeframe.
Should you need to cancel your test registration, registration fees for the test will be refunded up to the close of registrations for the test window however, an administration charge of $12 will be deducted for each test component cancelled.
